This place reminds me of restaurants in Europe. Understated elegance. Met by the manager at the door. Went to the bar and ordered a Tito’s Dirty Martini. Excellent. Last week I ordered the Tuna Stack appetizer and last night I ordered the Smoked Salmon appetizer. Couldn’t have been better! Bravo!
Had the prime rib special, the corn bread and peanut butter pie for our anniversary dinner tonight. Epic. The food was amazing! Service is top notch. Did I saw the food was awesome? Believe the reviews. If you are visiting, go here. Make a reservation, too (we did). Place was packed. Should be—amazingly managed and top notch. Got to watch the cooks while I waited to be seated—mesmerized. This place is at the top of its game. Many thanks to the folks who made our special night a true pleasure. Excellent work and well done!!!
Server was friendly and quick to refill drinks. She knew the menu well. The food was prepared well and tasted great. Atmosphere is dark and cozy.
We went here after a long day in the office. We waited 30 mins for the table, exactly as we were told. Chicago steak was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices are ok, considering the quality.
Wonderful!!!!! We came here to celebrate a special occasion! And we couldn’t have picked a better place! Servers were the best! Very sweet and friendly! Always with a smile! Very dish was just cooked to perfection and detailed in a way we haven’t seen before…. The cornbread is to die for! Omg! They serve it hot in a pod with honey on the side! It is the best I have had in my entire life! Familiar atmosphere! Love everything!
Always a pleasure at any of the 131 Main restaurants. I had the prime rib last night and was extremely delicious. Tuesdays are half priced bottles of wine. There are several locations around Charlotte and very similar.
Jasmine was an excellent server! The food was fabulous--cornbread (who would think cornbread could taste this good!?!?), Thai steak salad, prime rib, Brussels sprouts, mushroom soup--all were terrific! We would absolutely come again!
Highly recommend. Had to try this place since the reviews were so good. Everything was fresh and grilled perfectly. Some of the dishes had nice spice on it as well. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Best ribs in Charlotte area! I don't think I have ever had a bad meal here. Definitely need reservations though.
I loved everything about this place! The service is wonderful. We arrived early for our reservation and although the bar and tables were full, we were promptly greeted by Yasmine the bartender with their cocktail list and offered us a spot on the list for the next available table at the bar. We opted out since we wanted a more quiet dinner. I Had the Pearfection martini. It was refreshing, made with clean ingredients greygoose pear,lemon...and my husband said it was the best unsweet tea he's ever had. Seated at our table, Daniel made some great recommendations. We had the cornbread- delish and the tuna stack- ahi tuna, cucumber and mango served with crackers that really held up & didn't shatter. I ordered the scallops and my husband the Filet- perfectly cooked MR. Then we shared the crème brûlée and I had an espresso martini- perfection! We will def be back
